ABOUT ANCHOR OF HOPE

Turning Interest into Action

In 2018 I remember praying something to the effect, "God I do not want to find myself in a beach bar or on a golf course every day for the remaining years of my life."  So I asked God to help me, show me where He wanted me to go.  That was my prayer right before my retirement from the Postal Service.  At the time I had no idea that I would be sharing a portion of my eternal journey with you now.  However, the circumstances that occurred prior to my retirement were through and by the sovereignty of God.

There are many back-stories leading up to this point.  However, these stories pale in the light of God's story and it is my desire for God to use me in His kingdom building work.  In 2018, I attended a Kairos weekend at Hardee Correctional Institute and felt the need to stay on as a volunteer.  During this event, I realized that God had answered my prayer and called me into prison ministry.

Today I am privileged to teach incarcerated men, that there is a "BETTER WAY" of living life, and that way can only be found in the Lord Jesus Christ.  Sharing the love of God, the Cross of Christ is ANCHOR OF HOPE Prison Ministries NUMBER ON OBJECTIVE.

"And now abide faith, hope, love, these three, but the greatest of these is love." 1Cor.13:13 NKJ

Anchor of Hope Prison Ministries is called by the grace of God to be useful in the building upon men’s lives. Our objective is to assist and encourage men to lead purposeful and productive lives in Christ Jesus, both now and upon their returning to society for His glory alone.
